Not only does it have a beautiful photo of Baba on every page, along with some excellently chosen quotes, but on the bottom half with the squares for the dates, it lists in small print what important event happened on that day in Baba history. Hafiz & Rumi Calendars

About the Hafiz Calendar:

"A poet is someone who can pour light into a cup, then raise it to nourish your beautiful, parched, holy mouth." The poetry of the 14th century Persian, Hafiz, has been referred to, along with Rumi, Shakespeare and Dante, as one of the seven great literary wonders of the world. To Persians, the poems of Hafiz are not classical literature from a remote past but cherished wisdom, humor and love from a dear friend.

The Illuminated Rumi:

Based on One Song: A New Illuminated Rumi, this calendar is an interweaving of poetry and art: a magnificent meeting of ancient tradition and modern interpretation that uniquely captures the spiritual wealth of Rumi's teachings. Michael Green's magical art, along with his sensitive renderings of Rumi's poetry, makes this work a classic guide to the life of the soul for a whole new generation of seekers.

Rumi is still the country's most-read poet, and our major spokesman for open, boundary-crossing spirituality. The first Illuminated Rumi, published in 1997, is still a phenomenon with over 100,000 copies in print.
Artist/author Michael Green has numerous books in print, including The Illuminated Rumi, The I Ching Journals and The Illuminated Prayer.

Rumi, Heart of the Beloved:

Jelaluddin Rumi (1207-1273) was a master of ecstatic poetry. His masterpieces have inspired countless people throughout history; and today, thanks to the magical translations of Coleman Barks, Rumi's poetry is more popular than ever. In the Rumi: Heart of the Beloved 2008 wall calendar, Barks' translations are paired with exquisite Persian miniatures. The rich intricacy of the artwork complements Rumi's mystical metaphors, in which the yearning for the divine beloved represents the soul's quest for wholeness.
