11 cuts, more than an hour of music, all composed and arranged by that favorite Sufi singer, Mischa Rutenberg. Some songs were inspired by Rumi. For this new production, Mischa has brought in a wealth of talent: John Alevizakis on guitars, bass, synthesizer; Chris Krotke on drums, percussion, synthesizer; Gary Leuenberger on piano and keyboards; Robert Powell on guitars; Victor Seckeler vocals on spoken word cut "Wizard Eyes." Lyrics have been contributed by Rachel Dacus, Tariq Whelpley, and Richard Dean. Mischa's voice is easy to listen to, and I find these songs are a nice background for any day... but if I tune in to the lyrics I am always pleased and surprised by the wisdom and humor I find there.
